I have this site as a pre-favorite TOP 5 Haunted Attractions on the East Coast. It is nestled up in a country setting, and has one of the longest hayrides you will find! It is easily the best bargain when you consider ticket prices! They offer a great haunted hayride as well as a 1st Rate haunted house. We will be visiting this attraction this year. We highly recomend going here! We will have the story as well as a future interview story for you as well. All proceeds go the Lineboro Volunteer Fire Department as well, its a great cause and one great Must-See event! Here is there website! http://www.lineborovfd.com/Haunt/
Interview with Bedlam in the Boro's very own Denise Myers.
Can you start off by telling the readers your position at the Bedlam in the Boro=2 0haunted attraction? This is my 12th year assisting with Bedlam in the Boro. Over the years I have held many positions including actor, makeup artist, and set designer. This year my primary role is secretary. We have numerous meetings held throughout the year to design and organize the event as well as large amounts of correspondence to be sent to various agencies regarding issues such as road signs, communications and traffic control. It takes the burden off those who spend countless hours making the event a success year after year.
Where is Bedlam in the Boro located? Bedlam in the Boro is located at the Lineboro Volunteer Fire Department, 4224 Main Street, Lineboro, MD in Carroll County. We are in close proximity to Manchester, MD and Hanover, PA.
Bedlam in the Boro has my favorite haunted hayride of any haunted attraction I been to. What can the readers and haunt fans expect from this years haunted hayride?" Now, I can’t give away all of our secrets, but I will=2 0tell you this: The route travels almost 4 miles of the deepest, darkest back roads of Lineboro. Lineboro is home to one of the largest spiders ever seen in Carroll County and I wouldn’t recommend using the outhouses. You never know who, or what, might be watching you. And be very cautious when traveling through Butcher Holler. We wouldn’t want you to become dinner for anyone.
(4) Also you have the House of Horror, which is a great addition to the haunted hayride. Can you tell us anything about this years House of Horror? No one ever knows exactly what you will find in the House of Horror. It’s a mysterious place where things are changing all the time. Beware of jungle fever but if it gets you, there’s a doctor in the house. It’s a maze of surprises that will have you going topsy turvy.
(5) Bedlam in the Boro is for a great cause. It helps out the Lineboro Volunteer Fire Department. Can you explain to us a little about this, and also who runs this event, the Fire Department, or another group? Bedlam in the Boro has been the fire department’s largest fundraiser for the past 14 years. Given the area the department is located in, it isn’t feasible for us to ho st a carnival as most other departments do. It is organized by the fire department and is operated by hundreds of volunteers including fire department members, community members and local groups. We strive to create a family oriented event and by having volunteers to operate it, we are able to keep it cost effective for our patrons.
(6) Is there anything you would like to add? You can say anything you want, any topic, any subject. The Lineboro Volunteer Fire Department serves Carroll County and Baltimore County, MD as well as York County, PA. Recently we added a new addition to our station to better house our equipment and to host additional events for the department and the community. A few weeks ago the department was subject to the flash flooding that reeked havoc on the area. The proceeds from this event will help defer the cost of repairs due to the flooding and also assist in our goal of obtaining a new fire engine to replace one that is over 25 years old. We hope to see you at this year’s event and we guarantee it’s unlike anything you’ve ever experienced!

We were so impressed by Bedlam in the Boro. They are the Real Deal! They made us jump like 8 times in there House of Horrors!!
Our Official Bedalm in the Boro Review!!
This place is GOOD! WOW, Bedlam in the Boro is ONE place YOU have to visit this October! We arrived at Bedlam in the Boro assuming it would be good. We been there in the past, and loved it. But tonight, we found out how much they improved! They are as good as any haunt you will find....I guarantee you! We entered there House of Horrors, which is run by Tom Myers. This place is impressive!
My review group jumped more tonight at the Bedlam in the Boro "House of Horrors" then we have at any other haunt. We been to different haunts. Each one has a different unique style to it. This haunted house is more of a quick adrenline rush. I think what makes this place so good, is the rooms are very small. There are quick turnoffs, stop then turn and follow wall to next room. Actors are everywhere!
House of Horrors is intense! It is alot of fun! The rooms are very well designed. I learned alot tonight, more than I have since I started writing on and following these haunted attraction events. The staff at Bedlam in the Boro made it very clear. They love and support the other haunts in Maryland. This gave me a new perspective on the haunt indusrty. They all support one another, and I think untiy is the best thing you can have. I am just so impressed with Bedlam in the Boro.
We also would go on there haunted hayride as well. I have always loved there hayride. The scenery and the town is by far the best country setting I have ever seen in my life. There haunted hayride this year was GREAT! It lasts about 45 minutes, and its exciting from start to finish. One scene really got my attention.
It had alot to do with a Famous Michael Jackson video! I cant tell you about it. I never reveal stuff about the attraction, I want you to see it first hand. I enjoyed all the stops on the haunted hayride. My review group loved this place as well! Here is our Official Review Card on Bedlam in the Boro!
